US-based restaurant chain International House of Pancakes (IHOP) has unveiled its new autumn menu in the US.
IHOP’s new menu includes Belgian waffles, hand-crafted melts, entrées and more.
IHOP’s new waffle offerings come with a variety of sweet and savoury options while its new entrees include slow-braised beef pot roast and country-fried steak.
The brand’s Nashville Hot Melt is a dish of crispy chicken breast strips tossed in Nashville hot sauce, topped with pickles and a four-cheese blend, on top of thick-cut, grilled bread.
IHOP’s new sweet and savoury additions will join the brand’s recent inclusions of biscuits and seasonal pumpkin spice menu items.
Additionally, IHOP's International Bank of Pancakes has partnered with Wizards of the Coast, a role-playing, trading card and digital games studio, to offer digital content in the Magic: The Gathering Arena, a digital collectible card game.
For a limited time, IHOP will have a customised Magic-themed menu that includes five themed pancakes. These will be available across all IHOP restaurants in the country from 27 September 2023.
IHOP chief marketing officer Kieran Donahue said: “At IHOP, we are proud to be the breakfast leader.
“This autumn, we have kicked it up a notch by delivering a dedicated Biscuits menu and have now expanded our popular waffles to include Nashville Hot Chicken & Waffles and a Waffle Sundae so that our guests can enjoy any time of day.
“Our goal is to always put a smile on your plate when you come to dine with us, which is why, in addition to the sweet and spicy bold new flavours, we’re partnering with Magic: The Gathering Arena to bring digital and International Bank of Pancakes rewards to gamers.”
