US-based quick services restaurant (QSR) chain Jack in the Box has forayed into the state of Kentucky with the opening of its new store in Louisville.
It is the brand’s second new market entry in the last three months as part of its expansion plan.
The new location features dine-in, drive-through and mobile ordering options and will welcome guests around the clock.
Jack in the Box chief development officer Tim Linderman said: “We’re pleased to announce the opening of our first Jack in the Box location in the state of Kentucky. This marks a significant milestone for our brand as we continue to expand our presence across the country.
“With strong consumer appeal for our iconic brand, we know that there is pent-up demand for Jack in the Box in Kentucky.”
The new Jack in the Box site has a brand-new CRAVED look and features new restaurant branding with bold colours and signs.
Going forward, the restaurant brand plans to increase its presence in the region with additional locations across Louisville.
Additionally, the restaurant company signed an agreement with the veteran Jack in the Box franchisees to open six new restaurant commitments in the Louisville market.
The franchisees include Mark and Karen Graffius, as well as multi-unit franchisee Shane Paul, to expand the brand’s footprint within this new market.
Paul said: “When we were offered the opportunity to expand to Louisville, we knew this was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up.
“I grew up and went to college close to Louisville and I know people will crave our iconic menu. We are in the process of signing our first leases and we look forward to bringing great food and new job opportunities to the Louisville market.”
