Global restaurant brand Jollibee has announced plans to open its first location in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, on 28 June 2023.

The new restaurant will be located at 4999 Molly Banister Drive next to the Bower Place Mall.

It will be Jollibee’s eighth restaurant in the province and its 27th location in Canada.

Jollibee North America president Maribeth Dela Cruz said: “We are excited to bring our beloved menu items and friendly service to our long-time fans and first-time visitors who call Red Deer home.

“Red Deer has an ever-growing community, which makes it a perfect fit for introducing Jollibee to new audiences who are curious to try our tasty offerings that have delighted the tastebuds of many consumers worldwide.”

The restaurant brand is known for its famous Jolly Crispy Chicken, Chicken Sandwiches and sweet Peach Mango Pie dessert.

The Red Deer location will also serve its new limited-edition Coconut Pineapple Pie.

This location will offer dine-in, take-out and drive-through services. It plans to launch the online ordering and delivery service in the coming weeks.

Jollibee stated that the Canadian province represents a key growth region.

The company currently has more than 1,500 restaurants across 17 countries and is continuing to expand its footprint across North America.

Earlier this week, Jollibee announced it would open its first restaurant in Brentwood, California, on 25 June 2023.
