Global restaurant brand Jollibee is set to open its first location in Chantilly, Virginia, US, on 21 November 2023.

The new location is set to open at 4406 Chantilly Shopping Center and will have a drive-through service for added convenience.

The new venue will be the brand’s third location in the Greater DC area, its 69th in the US and its 96th in North America.

Honeybee Foods Corporation, dba (doing business as) Jollibee Business Group, head Maribeth Dela Cruz said: “We received such a warm welcome last year when we opened our doors in nearby Alexandria, so we are especially thrilled to be able to give Northern Virginia residents and visitors another convenient location to enjoy their Jollibee favourites.

“And for those in the area who haven't yet tried us, we invite you to discover our unique and delicious menu line-up – whether you're a die-hard fried chicken fan or simply craving a delightfully different dining experience.”

The new store will offer guests a wide range of menu items, including the Chickenjoy, the Chicken Sandwich, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Peach Mango Pie.

Jollibee's Chantilly branch will join the brand’s two existing Virginia locations in Alexandria and Virginia Beach.

Last month, Jollibee announced plans to open its second Washington restaurant in Tacoma.

The Tacoma location marks the brand’s 95th restaurant in North America and joins its existing Washington location, which opened in 2010 at Tukwila.

The restaurant will offer online ordering, dine-in and takeout options.

Analyzing the metaverse impact in the foodservice sector

The COVID-19 pandemic brought key IoT use cases to the attention of the T&T industry. However, beyond the use cases catalyzed by the pandemic, the digitalization enabled by IoT solutions provides T&T companies with four key benefits: enhanced operational efficiency, reduced costs, improved decision-making, and better customer experiences. IoT can even assist in the burden of overtourism and the preservation of heritage sites and physical environments. IoT is, therefore, an essential investment for travel and tourism companies in combatting climate change.
