India’s fine dining restaurant chain Karigari has further expanded its footprint in the country by opening a fifth location, this time in Faridabad, Haryana, ET Hospitality World has reported.

Karigari's chef Harpal Singh Sokhi was quoted by the news agency as saying: “We are excited to open our fifth Karigari location in Faridabad.

“Known for its rich culinary traditions and culture, we are excited to be a part of this city. Carefully selecting a cuisine that reflected India's culinary heritage, our team added intriguing new twists. We are eager to serve the people of Faridabad with our culinary prowess.”

The new Karigari restaurant in Faridabad will provide a broad range of dishes that fuse traditional Indian cuisine with contemporary cooking techniques.

The restaurant brand plans to further expand its restaurant network by opening new venues across five Indian cities in 2024.

The business then intends to expand internationally, with plans to open eateries in London and Dubai.

In October 2023, Karigari opened its fourth location at Civil Lines in the Indian capital city New Delhi, The Print reported.

The new restaurant offered its guests jalebi waffles and paneer margherita.

Sokhi was quoted by the news agency as saying: “Karigari is more than simply a restaurant. It’s an homage to my heritage and the amazing ladies who inspired my culinary career. Every meal is a celebration of the passion, history and flavours that have shaped my life.”
