Katalyst tracks 200 KPIs to give restaurants real-time insights

Comprehensive restaurant management platform Katalyst has expanded its capabilities by tracking 200 key performance indicators (KPIs), enabling restaurant owners in Boston, Massachusetts, US to enhance their operational efficiency and profitability. 

The software empowers restaurant owners with real-time insights that optimise profits and cut down waste. 

Katalyst was co-founded by industry veterans Dan Roland, Bill Roland and Cole Dillon, along with software expert Scott Bleczinski, and developed out of a need for more effective restaurant management tools.  

The founders, who also own three restaurants in Massachusetts, have leveraged their experience to create a platform that addresses the complex demands of modern restaurant operations. 

By integrating critical functions into one platform, Katalyst eliminates the need to manage multiple systems for point-of-sale, loyalty programmes and inventory.  

This consolidation streamlines operations and reduces costs associated with software licensing fees.  

A strategic partnership with payment processing firm Fiserv offers Katalyst users access to some of the industry's most competitive processing rates. 

Built on Apple’s iOS system and utilising user-friendly iPads, Katalyst simplifies staff training and enhances operational flow.  

The company's modifier system caters to customer preferences, contributing to high levels of service and satisfaction.

Another feature of Katalyst is its real-time update capability: when an item is no longer available, it is instantly removed from all physical and digital menus. This maintains service quality and prevents customer disappointment.

This ensures that any issues are addressed promptly and effectively, contrasting with the experience often provided by outsourced support teams.
