US-based fried chicken chain KFC has launched its “most colourful and whimsical holiday bucket yet” for the holiday season 2024.
It features a "Buckets of Joy" design by the popular illustrator duo Yeye Weller, along with matching streetwear-inspired holiday merchandise.
Yeye Weller's artwork is celebrated for its bright colours and joyful themes.
KFC has also introduced new meal deals, which it describes as making holiday gatherings “merrier” and weeknight dinners “easier” during the busy festive period.
The Festive Feast Deal, featuring the 2024 holiday bucket, comprises six pieces of fried chicken, six new Original Recipe Tenders, three sauces and two large sides of customers’ choice — all for $25.99, with an option to add KFC's new Cherry Pie Poppers.
For those seeking a larger meal, KFC is offering the Chicken & Tenders Feast: eight pieces of fried chicken, eight Original Recipe Tenders, four sauces, three large sides of their choice and four biscuits.
The streetwear-inspired Holiday Collection includes sweatshirts, T-shirts, a festive sweater, a hoodie, a beanie and socks, with options at various price points. Customers can shop at KFCShop.com from 3 December 2024.
The meal deals are available in KFC restaurants, online at KFC.com or via the KFC app.
KFC US chief marketing officer and chief development officer Catherine Tan-Gillespie said: "KFC's Original Recipe has brought people together for generations, especially around the holidays. This season, get more bang for your bucket with the KFC Festive Feast for just $25.99.
"Whether you're gathering with friends, family, neighbours or coworkers, exchanging gifts or just breaking biscuits, KFC has your meal, gifts and wardrobe covered."
KFC offers a Quick Pick-Up service for online orders and the new KFC Rewards loyalty programme for additional savings.
In addition to meal deals and merchandise, the brand has also introduced digital gift cards for the holiday season.
