US-based fast food restaurant chain Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is rolling out new Hot & Spicy Wings for a limited period, starting 10 September.
The new offering is being launched to mark the football season.
Customers can order eight Hot & Spicy Wings for $4.99, though prices for orders may vary on different third-party food delivery apps.
This item will be available across several participating KFC locations in the country.
The new wings are spicy marinated and double hand-breaded with the brand’s signature Extra Crispy breading.
KFC US chief marketing officer Nick Chavez said: “We are coming in HOT (and spicy) this football season with a truly unmatched deal.
“Bench the other players. Why get six wings for $5.99 when you can start our eight-piece Hot & Spicy Wings instead for just $4.99?”
According to the restaurant chain, customers placing orders through the KFC mobile application or its website (KFC.com) can get free delivery on Thursdays.
KFC customers can also access ‘Quick Pick Up’ when ordering the new Hot & Spicy Wings or other KFC favourites, enabling them to collect their order from KFC's specific 'Quick Pick-Up' shelf.
All these offers can be accessed ahead of time, from 7 September, across all the participating locations. However, delivery hours and availability may differ.
Customers ordering through third-party delivery platforms cannot opt for these offers.
This June, KFC announced the launch of its Ultimate BBQ Fried Chicken Sandwich at various participating locations across the US.
