Krispy Kreme is introducing a collection of four limited-edition doughnuts to commemorate the Barbie doll's 65th anniversary in the US market.

The collection has already been released in the UK but the company has not yet confirmed the exact launch dates for the US market.

The chain's UK website notes it is “bringing together style and taste with four NEW dreamy flavours to celebrate Barbie’s 65th anniversary.”

They will be available nationwide in the UK at shops, supermarket cabinets and online until 6 October 2024.

The Krispy Kreme x Barbie collection includes the Barbie Pink Doughnut, an original glazed doughnut with pink frosting, pink sugar and a sugar Barbie plaque.

The Barbie Sweet 65th features an original glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and topped with Barbie-inspired sprinkles.

The Barbie Berries N' Kreme is a strawberry kreme-filled doughnut finished with purple and pink frosting and a Barbie heart chocolate.

The Malibu Dream Party is a Biscoff Kreme-filled doughnut rolled in cookie crumb and gold nibs, garnished with a Malibu house sugar plaque, exclusively available online.

In August 2024 Krispy Kreme partnered with Dr Pepper to launch the Krispy Kreme x Dr Pepper Kickoff Collection for the US football season 2024/2025.

The standout item in this collection is the Dr Pepper Kickoff Doughnut, a fresh take on the traditional Original Glazed Doughnut. It features a Dr Pepper-flavoured frosting filling with a Burgundy Sprinkle Blend, finished with a white chocolate Dr Pepper emblem.

The Buttercreme Goals Doughnut is an Original Glazed dipped in green icing with festive toppings, finished with a yellow buttercreme-flavoured goal post.
