US-based quick-serve fried chicken chain Krispy Krunchy Chicken (KKC) has added a new Cajun Chicken Sandwich to its menu.
The brand states that its new addition offers a combination of crispy texture and juicy, flavourful taste.
Cajun Chicken Sandwich includes an all-white meat breast fillet marinated in the brand's mild Cajun spices and coated in a proprietary breading, topped with their signature honey sauce and pickles and served on a warm brioche bun.
Priced at $4.99 in most locations, the company positions the new offering as an ideal option for a quick lunch or dinner.
Customers can pair the sandwich with one of the brand's sides to create a complete meal suitable for on-the-go dining.
To promote the new product, Krispy Krunchy Chicken is set to conduct sampling activations at select stores in early 2024.
It is also planning six public sampling events in key markets across the US: Baltimore, Jackson, Las Vegas, Miami, New York City and San Diego.
Krispy Krunchy Chicken president Jim Norberg stated: “We're excited to enter the competitive chicken sandwich landscape by delivering an exceptional product at an extraordinary value.
“Our customers seek convenient, freshly made, high-quality food and we proudly provide just that.
“We are committed to establishing Krispy Krunchy as the ultimate destination for your favourite fried chicken. As we like to say, you either know how good it is or you haven't tried it.”
In January 2024 Krispy Krunchy Chicken expanded its footprint with a new corporate office in Atlanta, US.
The office will serve as a hub for the company's organisational functions and will house team members from human resources, IT, finance, marketing, sales and operations.
The move comes as the brand approaches the milestone of 3,000 locations in 2024.
