Lightspeed Commerce has announced an enhancement to its integration with all-in-one team management app 7shifts to streamline payroll and operations for restaurant owners across North America.
The collaboration will simplify and optimise management processes within the hospitality sector, addressing labour challenges and the need for efficient solutions.
According to the 2024 State of Hospitality report by Lightspeed, a majority of restaurateurs are actively seeking ways to improve labour management, with 62% prioritising this aspect. 74% are on the lookout for technologies to streamline operations.

With the latest update, users of the Lightspeed restaurant system will benefit from the ability to import sales, labour and employee data directly into 7shifts.

The partnership also introduces 7shifts’ advanced payroll features to Lightspeed users, currently available in the US.
These features include payroll administration, tip integration and benefit management. By automating these processes, restaurant owners can dedicate more time to enhancing customer experiences.
