US-based quick-service restaurant chain Long John Silver's is offering shrimp specials including Coconut Butterfly Shrimp for a limited time.

From 24 Feb 2025, guests can enjoy Lent specials: Coconut Butterfly Shrimp and OREO Cookies and Cream Cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory Bakery.

This dessert features OREO cookies baked into cheesecake and layered with OREO cookie mousse.

Long John Silver's is offering a variety of shrimp options for the season, including grilled, crispy and golden-fried.

For a limited time, its menu features a $6 Coconut Butterfly Shrimp Basket with four options.

The six-piece Coconut Butterfly Shrimp will feature a crispy, coconut-flavoured coating, served with one side and two hushpuppies [small, savoury, deep-fried balls made from cornmeal-based batter].

Other choices include six-piece Grilled Shrimp, seasoned and served on a bed of rice with one side, and six-piece Batter-Dipped Shrimp, hand-battered and accompanied by one side and two hushpuppies.

The menu also includes Crispy Breaded Popcorn Shrimp, served with one side and two hushpuppies. All these options are available for a limited time.

The $10 Shrimp Sea-Shares menu offers a choice of 15 Coconut Butterfly Shrimp, 15 Grilled Shrimp, 15 Batter-Dipped Shrimp, or a shareable portion of Crispy Breaded Popcorn Shrimp.

In October 2024, Long John Silver’s reintroduced Wild-Caught Norway Lobster Bites for the holiday season.

They were made from wild-caught Norway lobster tails with a buttery breaded coating.
