US dessert chain Marble Slab Creamery, owned by FAT Brands, has introduced a new ice cream flavour, Dark Chocolate Cookies ‘N' Cream made with OREO Cookies.

The new product is available both as an ice cream and as an ice cream cake until 14 April 2024 at participating locations.

The offering is a take on the classic Cookies ‘N' Cream flavour, featuring a dark chocolate ice cream base mixed with OREO Cookies and an extra serving of the OREO cookie centre.

The Dark Chocolate Cookies ‘N' Cream Ice Cream Cake presents a chocolatey variation of Marble Slab's traditional Cookies ‘N Cream Ice Cream Cake.

It combines chocolate cake with the new ice cream flavour covered in chocolate icing and topped with OREO Cookie pieces.

Marble Slab Creamery marketing senior director Katie Thoms said: “We continue to double down on our strong relationships with strategic partners like Mondelez and OREO.

“Over the last several years, we have dreamed up many fun combinations with the OREO team—from new flavours to unique spins on popular flavours.

“No matter what the twist is, these collaborative offerings always hit the spot with our fans. We expect this rich chocolatey flavour to be nothing short of this.”

In February 2024 FAT Brands announced a significant expansion in Canada through a development deal with the Canadian Ice Cream Company.

The agreement will open 40 new franchised Marble Slab Creamery locations across Canada over the next ten years, with the first store expected by the end of 2024.

The strategic move is set to increase Marble Slab Creamery's footprint in Canada to 140 units, re-inforcing its market presence.
