US-based fast-casual restaurant chain Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls has launched a new venue in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Located at Rio Lakefront, the new establishment offers its guests a New England dining experience featuring Maine-sourced seafood.

It will be operated by local entrepreneur Sandra Cooper.

Cooper said: “Mason's offers an incredible opportunity for people like me — those who want to build something meaningful without the heavy overhead of most restaurants.

“The simplicity of the operation, paired with the fantastic product, made it the perfect choice. I'm excited to bring this experience to my community.”

Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls' menu is made using the finest lobster meat, procured directly from Maine.

As well as rolls, it offers entrées, soups, sides, desserts and beverages, all designed to evoke the essence of New England's culinary tradition.

The new venue at Rio Lakefront will offer lunch and dinner service.

Founder and CEO Dan Beck said: “At Mason's, we aim to lower the barriers to entry for entrepreneurs by offering a simple, cost-effective business model.

“We're excited to welcome Sandra and Byron to the Mason's family, and we're confident their restaurant will become a favorite in Gaithersburg.”

In May 2024, the brand announced plans to open a location in the Promenade Saucon Valley shopping mall in Center Valley, Pennsylvania - its first in the state.

Covering an area of 1,500ft², the new Mason’s outlet is located adjacent to Slime Time, near the AMC movie theater at the west end of the shopping centre.
