US-based fast-casual chain Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls has announced the launch of a new outlet at Winterfield Crossing in Midlothian, Virginia.

The new location, overlooking the waterfront, will serve the local community with its signature Maine lobster.

The outlet is operated by the Stroud family, Lisa, Kevin and K.J., who are known for their asphalt company, Pro-Seal Paving & Sealing, in Powhatan.

They have now ventured into the foodservice sector, bringing Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls' to Midlothian.

Lisa Stroud said: “Lobster rolls are an indulgence that most people think they can only enjoy at a white-tablecloth restaurant.

“With Mason's, you can walk right in, enjoy exceptional lobster and still feel comfortable and relaxed. That's what really excited us about bringing this brand to Midlothian.”

The menu at Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls includes signature items such as the Classic Roll, the Connecticut Roll and the Whoopie Pie.

K.J. Stroud said: “We saw the demand for a fresh, convenient lobster roll experience, and Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls was the perfect fit.”

Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls CEO and founder Dan Beck said: “Mason's is a brand that exemplifies simplicity and scalability, which is why we're seeing such strong growth.

“We are excited to partner with the Stroud family and bring our unique brand of accessible indulgence to the Midlothian area.”
