The global fast-food giant McDonald's has opened a new restaurant in Noida city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

Situated within Sundream Group's Anthurium project in Sector 73, the McDonald's Noida restaurant spans 9,000ft2.

Sundream Group CEO Harsh Gupta said: “We are thrilled to introduce McDonald's at Anthurium as part of our commitment to enhancing the dining experience in this landmark project.

“The launch of this outlet underscores our dedication to offering world-class amenities at Anthurium—a project that merges cutting-edge office spaces with premier retail offerings.

“Its strategic location and connectivity align perfectly with Noida’s growing commercial and lifestyle potential.”

The new McDonald's outlet is designed to cater to a variety of dining preferences, offering both quick breaks as well as leisurely meals to its guests.

With its contemporary design and ample seating, the restaurant aims to provide a welcoming atmosphere for guests looking to enjoy the brand's iconic menu.

The restaurant offers modern amenities and a strong emphasis on accessibility.

Earlier this month, security flaws in McDonald’s India (West & South) delivery system exposed significant vulnerabilities, which potentially compromised the personal data of customers and drivers.

The issue was discovered in the application programme interfaces (APIs) of the McDelivery service, which are essential for processing and tracking orders.

The security flaws were identified by Eaton Zveare, a security researcher at Traceable AI, who discovered that the McDelivery APIs were insufficiently verifying user permissions.

In August this year, McDonald’s India – North and East announced that it will use generative AI for its new Signature Collection Gourmet Burgers.

The brand launched its "Imagined in AI" campaign, which designed gourmet burgers by combining customer input with AI-generated visuals.
