McDonald’s Singapore has launched a new Black Pepper Cheese Fillet-O-Fish burger in the market for a limited period, according to a report by Geek Culture.

Available in single and double patties, the new burger is a different variation of the regular Fillet-O-Fish burger.

The new burger variant features a 100% wild Alaskan Pollock patty and is topped with lettuce and an all-new Black Pepper Cheese Sauce.

Starting 31 August 2023, the new burger will be available at all McDonald’s outlets in the country after breakfast hours on weekdays and after 12PM on weekends.

Customers can purchase a single a-la-carte burger for S$4.50 ($3.33) while the extra value meal will cost S$6.40 ($4.73).

Additionally, customers also have the option to place their orders through McDelivery, GrabFood and Foodpanda.

The restaurant chain also suggested that the new burger is best paired with the Bandung frappe and potato wedges.

In June this year, McDonald’s China announced that its Filet-o-Fish sandwich, Double Fish burger, and its Kids Fish Fillet burgers will have a blue Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) ecolabel.

The three menu options are being served across more than 5,000 McDonald’s restaurants in China.

McDonald’s China chief impact officer Gu Lei said: “McDonald’s China insists on providing consumers with fresh, safe and natural high-quality ingredients and at the same time is actively building a sustainable supply chain to reduce damage to the environment through its seafood procurement.”
