McDonald's United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the launch of the McCrispy, a new chicken burger, in the region, as reported by Zawya.

The McCrispy features a 100% chicken breast fillet, fresh lettuce and a smoky mayonnaise sauce, served in a soft potato bun.

It is now available across all McDonald's restaurants in the UAE and via the McDonald's app.

To celebrate the launch, McDonald's UAE is introducing an interactive game on its app on 18 December 2024, offering exclusive weekly offers.

Since 1994, McDonald's UAE has been serving the region and now operates more than 200 restaurants there. The company emphasises its commitment to food safety and quality, extending to its McCafé range.

McDonald’s UAE CEO Walid Fakih was quoted by the news agency as saying: “We continually strive to bring our customers innovative menu items that delight their taste buds, and this new offering is a testament to our dedication to quality and flavour. We’re excited to introduce the McCrispy to our menu and customers across the UAE”.

In October 2024, McDonald's launched the Chicken Big Mac at all participating US locations.

This item is a variation of the classic Big Mac, replacing beef patties with tempura-battered chicken patties and keeping the signature toppings unchanged.

The fast-food giant rolled out the new item for a limited time.

In December 2024, McDonald’s announced the return of the Snack Wrap to its US menus, eight years after the item was officially discontinued in 2016.

The Snack Wraps, featuring lettuce, chicken and cheese in a tortilla, first launched in 2006.
