Mercer Street Hospitality has announced the opening of the new Bash Burger restaurant in Urbanspace Vanderbilt food hall near Grand Central Terminal in New York City (NYC).

Located at 230 Park Avenue between East 45th and East 46th Streets, Bash Burger’s new location will offer guests a wide array of menu items, including its signature BB Classic and Bash Burgers.

The restaurant brand’s Bash Burger patty is dressed with bacon onion jam, classic American cheese and shaved pickles, topped with the brand's legendary secret sauce.

The BB Classic burger is prepared using lettuce, tomato and cheese.

In addition to its signature burgers, the restaurant will offer hand-cut fries, fountain drinks, locally brewed beer, wine and craft cocktails.

The new restaurant will also offer guests dine-in, pickup and delivery services.

Customers can place orders through a virtual kiosk and seating is first come, first served in Urbanspace's communal dining area.

Mercer Street Hospitality founder John McDonald said: “There's a reason the Bash Burger has been coined 'the champion of burgers' all these years, so we couldn't pass up the opportunity to give New Yorkers a dedicated space to order their favourite American classic.

“This Urbanspace location is the first outpost of more to come and we're eager to watch what's to come for Bash Burger today and in the future.”
