Modern Market Eatery launches winter menu 2023 in US

The company’s new winter menu features eight new dishes.

US-based fast-casual concept Modern Market Eatery has announced the launch of its new winter menu featuring eight new dishes.

The new dishes include the Bacon Jam Club, the BBQ Beef Sandwich, the Garlic Mushroom Pizza, the Verde Bowl, the Southwest BBQ Beef Bowl, the Jerk Tuna Salad, the Blueberry Nutella Waffle and the Urban Farmer Salad.

The Bacon Jam Club is served on multigrain toast with herb-marinated roasted chicken, nitrite-free bacon, soft belly bacon jam aioli and kale jalapeño slaw. The BBQ Beef Sandwich is served on ciabatta bread with chipotle BBQ braised beef, Cholula cabbage slaw, provolone and smoked crema.

The Verde Bowl contains lemongrass Brussels sprouts, organic rice and quinoa with mixed greens, marinated kale, pickled red onion, cucumber, spicy roasted broccoli and avocado apple cider vinaigrette.

The Garlic Mushroom Pizza is made with roasted cremini mushrooms, red onion, kale, whole milk mozzarella, provolone and balsamic glaze with a roasted garlic white sauce.

The ingredients for the Southwest BBQ Beef Bowl are organic rice and quinoa, chipotle-braised beef, roasted corn salsa, watermelon radish, smoked crema, pepitas and cilantro [coriander].

Line-caught ahi tuna, roasted bell pepper, cucumber, mango salsa, toasted coconut, cilantro and avocado are all combined in a Jerk Tuna Salad and served over mixed greens with a creamy jerk dressing.

Mixed greens, goats' cheese, roasted butternut squash, red beets, dried cranberries, toasted pepitas, blueberries and creamy maple mustard are the toppings of the Urban Farmer Salad.

The blueberry Nutella waffle is a Belgian dessert waffle garnished with powdered sugar, Nutella, blueberry chia jam and fresh blueberries.

The restaurant brand states that its menu is inspired by seasonal fresh ingredients such as butternut squash, cranberries and beets.

Modern Market Eatery Culinary vice-president Nate Weir said: “Our team is always looking for new flavour pairings our guests will enjoy, and as we enter chillier months across the country, these hearty meals promise warmth and comfort.

“With limitless customisation options and most new items available in half-sizes, our guests can indulge in the essence of the season that fits their food lifestyle.”

Last month, Modern Market Eatery opened its first drive-through restaurant in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
