Canadian restaurant chain Moxies has launched its 2024 Summer Feature Menu, introducing eight new items available until 14 September 2024: five beverages and three dishes.
The new food offerings are the Citrus Habanero Salmon Sandwich, the Super Greens Salad and a dessert, the Churro Ice Cream Sandwich.
The Citrus Habanero Salmon Sandwich is a blend of mango, mild habanero spice and salmon.
Super Greens Salad is a lighter option with strawberries, diced avocado, quinoa crunch and parmesan cheese.
The Churro Ice Cream Sandwich is a house-baked, cinnamon-topped churro filled with vanilla bean ice cream, created by Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar executive chef Kenta Takahashi.
The five new drinks are the Grapefruit Bliss Spritz, the Aperol Spritz, the Hugo Spritz, the Cantaritos and the Madrí Excepcional.
The Grapefruit Bliss Spritz is a cocktail made with Ruffino Prosecco Rosé wine, Aperol, and grapefruit juice. Aperol Spritz is a classic patio cocktail.
Hugo Spritz is made with floral elderflower liqueur and fresh muddled mint.
Cantaritos is for guests who like a mix of sweet and citrus flavours with a hint of spice and is served in a Don Julio clay mug.
Madrí Excepcional is a new light Spanish-style lager.
Moxies culinary and beverage director Chef Brandon Thordarson said: “When creating the concept for this feature menu, each element needed to capture the bright, light and delicately warm flavours of summer.
“I wanted to highlight the wonderful freshness of the produce available during the season, providing a fully immersive experience for our guests.
“It was also a great pleasure working with Chef Kenta, having witnessed his incredible journey and experiencing first-hand his vast flavour expertise.”
In March 2024 Moxies completed the renovation of its uptown Dallas location in Texas, US.
The revamped venue at 100 Crescent Court, Ste 140, features a new interior design with marbled walls, contemporary art and greenery, and is situated near the American Airlines Center.
