Indian restaurant brand My Delhi is set to open its new location in Leicester City in the UK, according to reports by the Business Desk.

Located at the former Zizzi site on Belvoir Street, the new restaurant will offer its guests a wide variety of dishes such as street plates, tandoori street plates, roadside curries and sweet dishes.

Additionally, it will offer Indian-inspired cocktails, wines, beers and soft drinks.

With the announcement of the new location, the restaurant brand is further expanding its footprint in the UK.

My Delhi’s Leicester location will be the brand’s first opening outside of the North East and will be the third restaurant in their portfolio.

My Delhi currently operates restaurants in Newcastle and Sunderland.

The publication quoted My Delhi director Elahi Amin as saying: “We’re delighted to be opening our newest restaurant in Leicester.

“We believe that our menu offers a unique opportunity to explore the authentic flavours of Delhi whilst also offering a vibrant and fun setting to enjoy your visit.

“Part of the secret to My Delhi’s success is our team’s commitment to providing exceptional food and service to every customer, treating them as special guests in our home. We’ll be extending this to our Leicester restaurant and can’t wait to welcome our first diners through the door.”
