Fast-casual restaurant and catering group Naan Kabob has bolstered its presence in Canada with the opening of a new restaurant in downtown Toronto.

The new outlet, which is Naan Kabob’s tenth location in the Canadian city, is located at 240 Queen St West.

It will offer Naan Kabob's entire menu of Afghan cuisine, including grilled kabobs, all featuring Afghanistan's flavours and spices.

Naan Kabob's development and marketing vice president Fahim Ahmadi stated that the new downtown Toronto location has high visibility and traffic along with a contemporary design and trained staff.

Naan Kabob president Kaan Sayiner said: “We are incredibly excited to open our tenth location in Toronto, a city that has embraced our Afghan cuisine with such enthusiasm.

“This new location will allow us to introduce our brand to an even wider audience.”

Naan Kabob is a Toronto-based family-owned and operated business serving Afghan cuisine since 2010.

Its menu includes pan-fried Eggplant Borani, Lentil Soup, Qabli Lamb Shank, Fattoush Salad, Chicken Qurma Plate and Bolanee, a grilled flatbread filled with potatoes.

The menu also includes dumpling options. Mantu dumplings are filled with ground beef and onions and Aushak dumplings are filled with leeks topped with ground beef sauce and served on mint yogurt.
