Nightingale Ice Cream Sandwiches, a women and veteran-owned company, is expanding into Harris Teeter grocery stores across the US.
With the addition of 250 locations across the southeast of the country and in Washington DC, Nightingale aims to reach more fans with its offerings.
Made with 14% butterfat ice cream, freshly baked cookies, homemade inclusions, and all-natural, nut-free ingredients, Nightingale Ice Cream Sandwiches began when sous chef Hannah Pollack began making restaurant-quality ice cream sandwiches and her husband, Belgian-born chef Xavier Meers, recognised their potential.
Harris Teeter is launching the Nightingale line with three core flavours: Chocolate Blackout, Cookie Monster and Strawberry Shortcake.
Chocolate Blackout features chocolate brownie cookies, chocolate ganache swirl ice cream and chocolate cake pieces.
Cookie Monster combines chocolate chip cookies and cookie-crumb-infused vanilla ice cream.
Strawberry Shortcake pairs brown sugar cookies with fresh strawberry ice cream.
Nightingale Ice Cream Sandwiches president and CEO Hannah Pollack said: "The overwhelming support from our community inspired Xavier and me to take this leap.
"Partnering with Harris Teeter, which recognises and values that enthusiasm, fuels our passion to keep innovating."
Each flavour is available in a convenient four-pack, making it easy for consumers to enjoy at home.
