Ninety Nine SB Investment, the holding company of 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant, plans to launch a new sister restaurant brand called Kō, according to Caterer Middle East.
The company plans to open Kō restaurants in Madrid and Abu Dhabi next year, as well as a restaurant in Dubai, which will open in 2026.
The Kō's Madrid location is set to open in March 2024.
According to the Caterer Middle East, Kō’s menu offerings will include Japanese classics and grilled specialities.
The restaurant in Madrid will have a bar and a terrace.
Kō’s Abu Dhabi location will also feature a terrace, which will offer sunset views, while the Dubai location will have a 360° rooftop terrace.
The publication quoted Ninety Nine SB Investment Holding CEO Jaime Castaneda as saying: “In 2023, we kick-started this expansion with the opening of 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant in the imperial city of Rabat, Morocco, with a prime location at the Conrad Rabat Arzana.
“Next year, we will ignite 99’s global development and are thrilled to announce a confirmed location in Monte Carlo, on the Rocher’s most coveted new yacht marina.”
Ninety Nine SB Investment was established in 2018 by Fernando and Pedro de Leon and focuses on expanding its brand’s presence and haute Japanese cuisine to new markets across the globe.
