Nobu Hospitality has expanded its international presence with the launch of Nobu Toronto, marking the brand's entry to the Canadian market.
Located in Toronto's entertainment district, the new establishment is now accepting reservations for its second-level restaurant.
Nobu Toronto joins the company's global portfolio as its 56th location, bringing chef Nobu Matsuhisa's renowned signature dishes together with local flavours.
Reservations for the dining experience can be made online from 7 August 2024, with the option to book up to one month in advance.
The street-level Nobu Bar is now open to walk-ins, offering a curated selection of Nobu-style dishes daily from 5pm to 10pm.
Nobu Toronto’s menu features some of the brand’s signature dishes such as black cod miso and yellowtail jalapeño, along with new creations by executive chef Alex Tzatzos, including Chilean sea bass with red jalapeno miso and grilled lamb rack with hacho miso.
Guests can also enjoy Nobu's cocktails and mocktails, with the addition of exclusive Toronto-inspired drinks such as the 1942 Hinode and the Midnight in the 6ix.
The bar below the restaurant serves a lighter fare during the same opening hours.
The interior, which has been designed by Studio Munge, reflects a fusion of Japanese aesthetics and Canadian partisanship and is spread over 10,000ft² and two levels.
With a seating capacity of 280, Nobu Toronto offers dining spaces including a 57-seat bar area graced by a bronze chainmail chandelier and a mezzanine level with a 20-seat sake bar and outdoor terrace.
The second-level dining room can accommodate 140 guests and features a private tasting room.
