US-based fast-casual chain Noodles & Company has launched a new lineup of speciality Mac & Cheese dishes in various test markets.

This addition brings fresh, elevated flavours to its menu, available in select markets such as Colorado, Ohio and Illinois.

Noodles & Company said that more than ten million bowls of Wisconsin Mac & Cheese were sold last year alone.

The company partnered with The Culinary Edge to develop unique ingredients to enhance this dish.

Noodles & Company’s latest menu features Buffalo Chicken Ranch Mac & Cheese, Garlic Bacon Ranch Mac & Cheese, and Pulled Pork BBQ Mac & Cheese.

The company is also testing new items such as Chicken Riggie and Green Goddess Salad in select markets.

Noodles & Company chief concept officer Scott Davis said: "Our new speciality Mac & Cheese menu marks an exciting step forward for Noodles & Company as we continue to elevate our offerings.

"As our best-selling dish, Mac & Cheese holds a special place with our guests, and this launch underscores our dedication to delivering bold flavours and reimagined classics. We're confident that loyal fans and new guests will find something they love, and we're excited to introduce even more delicious dishes soon."

Additionally, the company offers Noodles Rewards for free via its mobile app or website.

In April, Noodles & Company reached an agreement with DND Group to open ten new venues in Portland, Oregon, expanding the company’s presence in the Pacific Northwest. The opening of the first location is planned for next year.
