Omniq, a provider of technological solutions for the hospitality industry, has secured a contract to supply equipment to a major US-owned hamburger chain's first branch in Tel Aviv, Israel.
This marks the start of a strategic partnership, with plans to equip four additional branches across Israel by the end of 2024.
Omniq will equip the hamburger chain's Israeli branches with its complete range of equipment, including computer systems tailored for kitchen display systems.
The technology is designed to streamline kitchen operations, ensuring orders are prepared efficiently and accurately.
Omniq will also install fintech [using technology to deliver financial services and products] self-order compact kiosks to optimise the ordering process for customers.
Omniq CEO Shai Lustgarten said: “We are honoured to partner with them as they expand into the Israeli market. This partnership aligns with our mission to deliver innovative solutions that drive efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
“We are excited to see how our technology will support their growth and success in Israel.”
In March 2024 Israeli hamburger chain Burger Ranch also awarded a contract to Omniq to supply and install AI-based self-ordering and self-checkout kiosks across its 64 restaurants.
The purchase order includes kiosks that support cash transactions, a feature expected to facilitate a more efficient customer journey. Omniq has already deployed 150 self-ordering kiosks in Burger Ranch outlets, leading to improved operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
