Quick service restaurant chain Osmow’s has announced the opening of its first 24-hour restaurant at the Toronto Pearson International Airport, Canada.

As the largest fast casual Middle Eastern brand in Canada, this location will offer its Shawarma to travellers at the airport’s Terminal 1.

Osmow’s franchise operations head and CEO Ben Osmow said: “We are delighted to introduce our first 24-hour restaurant at Pearson.

“This marks a significant milestone for our brand, allowing us to serve our modern take on Mediterranean delights at any time of the day or night. Osmow's is pleased to help increase dining options at Pearson, with a Mediterranean flair.”

At its new venue, the restaurant brand will also offer its first breakfast menu with items such as Falafel and Egg and steak Shawarma Wraps. It will also serve cultural favourites such as Pita Za'atar.

Osmow’s president and CMO Bernadette Osmow said: “The opening of Osmow's first 24-hour restaurant is a testament to the brand's dedication to growth and being there when and where customers crave us.

“As Osmow's continues to share its unique and modern blend of Mediterranean dishes across Canada and into the US, the Pearson location stands as a beacon of convenience and deliciousness for all travellers.”

Earlier this month, the brand opened its new restaurant venue in Buffalo, New York.

Located at Walden Galleria, the new site offers the brand’s signature shawarma creations, catering to both meat lovers and devoted vegetarians/vegans alike.

Could the consumer industry be bolstered by the increased use of AI

The consumer goods, foodservice, and packaging sectors are undergoing digital transformation, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic and changing consumer preferences. Data science and ML are strong investments across all areas. For the most part, these sectors will not play a significant role in creating and developing AI hardware or platforms, but will instead help scale up the adoption of AI technologies, such as CV, conversational platforms, and smart robots.
