US-based casual dining restaurant chain PF Chang’s has expanded its international footprint by opening its first location in Bangalore, India.
The restaurant company plans to expand its presence in the country later this year by opening its locations in other parts of India, including Mumbai.
PF Chang's global brands and retail president Kristen Briede said: “We're thrilled to welcome India as the next country in our network of global locations.
“It couldn't be a better time to invest in our growth and share the PF Chang's experience with even more guests.”
In collaboration with its franchisee partners, Gourmet Investments Private Limited (GIPL) and HMSHost, PF Chang's plans to offer more diverse food options to locals and travellers in India.
The brand's first location was opened in Terminal 2 of the Bangalore International Airport, providing a ‘premier’ dining experience for travellers.
Later this year, the restaurant brand intends to open a new bistro location operated by GIPL. Going forward, GIPL plans to launch locations in Delhi National Capital Region in 2024.
PF Chang's business development senior director Rafik Farouk said: “As we continue to scale our international business and growth in new markets, we look forward to establishing long-term partnerships with new franchisees and are committed to providing ongoing guidance and support.”
In April this year, PF Chang’s opened its new bistro in New Braunfels, Texas, US.
The full-service bistro is located at 2982 Cold Springs Drive in New Braunfels and is the restaurant’s third location in Greater San Antonio, Texas.
