Pizza by Aromi, a sister concept to Aromi Italian Restaurant, is set to open a new location in San Diego city of La Mesa in California, US, bringing its open wood-fired oven pizza experience to the local community.

The new restaurant will make its grand opening on 24 October at 7200 Parkway Drive following a short 'soft' opening period. The event will be marked by the offer of free pizza to the first 100 guests.

The restaurant uses traditional Italian techniques and high-quality ingredients such as hand-kneaded dough, wood-fired oven baking and fine Italian-imported cheeses. Guests can witness the artistry of pizza-making at the restaurant’s open woodfire oven.

The opening event will commence next door at Aromi Italian, which has been delivering one and a half years of Italian cuisine.

Guests will then proceed to Pizza by Aromi, where the La Mesa Chamber of Commerce will lead a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Pizza by Aromi owner Andrea Carbonaro stated: "Pizza by Aromi is about more than just food — it's an experience that sparks conversation and connection. We've poured our love for craftsmanship into every pizza, creating a space where each bite brings a little taste of Italy, and every table feels like a gathering of old friends."

The restaurant will offer 20 savoury Sicilian-style pizzas with options for stuffed crusts, gourmet add-ons, appetisers and dessert pizzas, along with a curated selection of beers and wines.

Chef Francesco Mancino will bring his exxpertise to each dish.
