Pizza Hut is set to launch the Big New Yorker Pizza Bagel in Los Angeles and New York City (NYC), US, by partnering with the Yeastie Boys bagel food truck.
The new pizza will combine the flavours of its Big New Yorker pizza with the iconic bagel.
Big New Yorker Pizza Bagel will premiere at Yeastie Boys food trucks during the Rolling Loud festival in Los Angeles from 15 to 17 March 2024
The following weekend, from 22 to 23 March, it will be served in New York City - its first introduction to New Yorkers - and once again in Los Angeles.
A pizza bagel features layers of sweet marinara sauce, fresh Parmesan and mozzarella cheese and oregano topped with double pepperoni on a Yeastie Boys bagel.
The Big New Yorker pizza returned to Pizza Hut's menu last year after a 24-year hiatus.
The XL pizza is known for its six oversized, foldable slices, crispy crust and bold flavours, reminiscent of authentic New York-style pizza.
Pizza Hut chief food innovation officer Rachel Antalek said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Yeastie Boys to introduce the Pizza Bagel, giving our Big New Yorker pizza an even bigger New York twist.
“We are always looking for innovative ways to surprise our customers, and this collaboration perfectly embodies our commitment to bold flavours and culinary creativity.
“The Big New Yorker Pizza Bagel is a bold celebration of New York’s culinary spirit, and we can’t wait for pizza and bagel lovers alike to experience this new item.”
