Pokey O's, a US-based ice cream sandwich store chain that operates a fleet of food trucks, is set to open a new brick-and-mortar location in Rockwall, Texas.
Scheduled to open on 22 March 2024, the new Pokey O's store will offer Pokey O's signature ice cream sandwiches range in multiple flavours. It will operate seven days a week from noon until 9pm.
The new location will be the brand's first physical store since its original location opened at the Southern Methodist University (SMU) campus in Dallas, Texas in 2006.
Trevor Anderson, together with sisters Cole and Kennedi Feigl, along with cousin Wesley Hibbs, will serve as franchise partners for the new Rockwall location.
Anderson said: “To say that Pokey O's has always been a huge part of our lives is an understatement. Growing up, it was an integral part of the Park Cities/SMU community catering to our churches, schools and birthday parties. I even took my wife on one of our first dates there! It's a truly special place for us.
“We're incredibly excited to continue to grow the brand and share the deliciousness with the Rockwall community.”
Pokey O's offers a variety of ice cream sandwiches, including its signature Ice Cream Sandwich, featuring two freshly baked cookies and a scoop of Blue Bell ice cream.
Customers can also enjoy shakes, cookies, cakes and even Pokey Paws dog treats from the Pokey O's menu.
Pokey O's Cookies & Ice Cream has grown from a single Dallas store to multiple locations and a fleet of food trucks, with catering teams serving the northern, central and eastern regions of Texas.
