Pret A Manger unveils new menu for September 2023

The new menu is said to be one of the biggest expansions since 2019.

UK-based sandwich and coffee chain Pret A Manger has unveiled its new menu for the month of  September, WalesOnline has reported.

The new menu is one of the biggest expansions since 2019, according to the news agency, featuring new soups, desserts and drinks.

The restaurant chain's new menu includes a Lasagne Soup featuring ground Italian sausage meat, ditalini pasta and tomatoes with basil, oregano and parsley.

Pret A Manger also introduced super greens soup, chicken, red rice and greens broth and a butternut and sage soup.

The restaurant offerings include baked items such as layered and loaded chilli chicken nachos, meatball and mozzarella risotto bakes and Pret’s protein-packed shakshuka.

The media house quoted Pret A Manger UK Food & Coffee director Katherine Bagshawe as saying: “For the past year, we have been hard at work with developing our Autumn menu by offering flavourful twists to familiar flavours and many delicious options.

“This is the biggest expansion of our hot food counter since 2019 and we’re so proud of the variety and quality that our hot food offers.

The sandwich and coffee chain’s offerings also include a BBQ Pulled Pork and pickles Hot Ciabatta, a Chipotle Chicken and feta Hot Ciabatta and a Meatless Meatball Marinara Hot Ciabatt.a

Pret’s Carmel Shortbread, Lemon Cake and Carrot Cake have also been added to the sweet line-up of the September menu.

Its hot drink menu for this month includes a first-of-its-kind Chocolate Chai and a Pumpkin Spiced Latte.

Bagshawe added: “We’ve got plenty of delicious newness, but we’ve also brought back the classics like our beloved Fridge Cakes, which have seen over 100 iterations to ensure they hit the sweet spot for our customers expect.”

“We can’t wait for everyone to experience all the new flavours and options.”
