QDOBA Mexican Eats is reintroducing Citrus Lime Shrimp, a menu item for those embracing "New Year, New Me" lifestyles.

Available for a limited period, this sustainably sourced seafood option caters to guests looking to reduce meat consumption.

Citrus Lime Shrimp draws inspiration from the culinary experiences of QDOBA executive corporate chef Katy Velazquez in Yucatán.

It features shrimp sautéed with lime juice, garlic and spices.

As part of the limited-time offer, customers can create their own entrées using the Citrus Lime Shrimp or opt for the Surf & Turf combination, comprising shrimp and flame-grilled steak.

QDOBA vice-president of marketing Kim Zamir said: "Our Citrus Lime Shrimp is a standout flavour that our guests love.

"Not only do they love its freshly sautéed, tangy flavour, but they also appreciate the new menu creations it inspires, like Surf & Turf, which has double the protein and flavour."

For those who prefer to customise, Citrus Lime Shrimp can be paired with toppings such as hand-crafted guacamole and signature three-cheese queso for no additional charge.

From 28 January 2025, Citrus Lime Shrimp will be available across participating locations in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico.

Customers can place their orders in-restaurant, online, or via the QDOBA app for pickup or delivery.

In December 2024, QDOBA Mexican Eats announced its expansion in Arizona with two new restaurants in Phoenix and Scottsdale.
