American sandwich restaurant chain Quiznos has launched the Club Peri Peri Sandwich in the US and Canadian markets for a limited period.

The Club Peri Peri Sandwich features grilled chicken, creamy peri-peri sauce, bacon, red onions, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños and melted cheese served on Italian white bread.

Quiznos culinary and innovation vice-president Mike Gieseman stated: “Our guests are daring, and we strive to give them new, globally inspired flavour mashups that match that energy in a unique and delicious way while providing a filling meal.

“Following the lead of previous flavour mashups such as our Kimchi Philly and Big Fat Greek Sub, the Club Peri Peri Sandwich is the latest offering that pushes the boundaries of what guests expect from Quiznos.”

This new limited-time offer offers a fusion of global flavours. It will be rolled out across all the company's participating locations and will be available for purchase while supplies last.

In August 2023, Quiznos introduced its new globally inspired sandwich, the Big Fat Greek Sub, across all its restaurants in the US and Canada.

To create this sandwich, Quiznos partnered with foodservice manufacturer Grecian Delight | Kronos.

Its launch brings back the gyro-style [round open pitta] recipe that Quiznos has offered since 2018.

The Big Fat Greek Sub is made using seasoned certified halal meat with tzatziki sauce and a blend of marinated tomatoes, cucumbers and red onions.

The subs are topped with lettuce and banana peppers and served on a choice of artisan bread.
