US-based privately-owned restaurant chain Razzoo's Cajun Café is set to open its new location in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, this month.

Located at 206 Harvey Street, it will be the restaurant's 23rd location.

The Winston-Salem Razzoo's is a 600ft² building that features the company's signature neon lights, bright colours and music. It also features a three-season patio for guests.

Razzoo's CEO Philip Parsons said: “We are thrilled to grow in North Carolina and look forward to providing great service and a fun and festive ambience where all ages can come together and enjoy our unique dining experience.

“The opportunity to be part of the Winston-Salem community attracted us here. Our brand emphasizes our daily, from-scratch preparation and brings authentic Cajun cuisine to town.”

The restaurant brand is known for its gumbeaux, etouffee, jambalaya and fresh seafood specialities, including grilled and blackened fish, Crispy Fried Gator Tail, Big Easy Cheeseburgers and traditional po'boys.

It also offers a wide range of beverage line-ups, including fishbowl cocktails topped with beads and everyday drink specials, including a Frozen Hurrycane and Frozen Mardi-Rita.

Razzoo's has been present in the North Carolina market for more than two decades and the brand plans to expand its presence in the region further.

Parsons added: “We're looking forward to this expansion in the North Carolina area and can't wait to join our friends in the Winston-Salem neighbourhood. As always, we'll supply the great food and great times.”
