Philippines-based bakery chain Red Ribbon Bakeshop is set to launch a new outlet in Wheaton, Maryland, US, on 23 September.
The new bakeshop will be the brand’s first outlet in the state.
It is situated two blocks away from the Wheaton Metro Station and situated on a “highly visible” corner of University Boulevard West and Georgia Avenue.
To mark the opening of the new location, Red Ribbon will offer “One Year of Sweetness” for the first 20 customers in the queue.
These 20 customers can get one FREE Mango Supreme Cake every month for an entire year.
In addition, the first 100 customers on day one and the first 50 customers on day two will be eligible to get assorted mamon packs for free on spending at least $50.
Once open, the bakeshop will serve customers from 9am and 9pm seven days a week.
The bakery chain offers a wide range of sweet and savoury pastries, such as Butter Mamon, Cheesy Ensaimada and Chicken Empanada.
Customers can order on the spot and eat or can access online ordering and delivery options through the Red Ribbon mobile application or use the website.
Red Ribbon Bakeshop vice-president Agnes Briones said: “It is always exciting when we get to bring a Red Ribbon Bakeshop to a new market and introduce a new crowd of people to our specially baked treats.
“Whether you are in celebration mode with family and friends or simply wish to treat yourself, Red Ribbon has an incredible assortment of pastries and cakes that cater to any of life's moments.”
With the addition of the Maryland outlet, Red Ribbon will have a total of 41 stores across the US.
The brand plans to soon expand its footprint to other US locations, including Brooklyn, New York.
