US-based casual dining restaurant chain Red Robin Gourmet Burgers has unveiled the Buzzer Beater Bacon Cheeseburger, a limited-time offer coinciding with the college basketball tournament.

This new item is available from 3 March through to 7 April 2025 with a choice of a double or triple beef patty.

The Buzzer Beater Bacon Cheeseburger, known as a "three-pointer," comprises three beef patties, four strips of hardwood-smoked bacon and six slices of American cheese drizzled with Red's Secret Tavern Sauce.

A "two-pointer" version features two beef patties alongside the same smoky bacon, cheese and sauce. Both options come with a bottomless side.

Side options are coleslaw, garlic fries, garlic parmesan broccoli, a side salad, steak fries, steamed broccoli, sweet potato fries or Yukon chips.

Substitutions, additions or opting for premium sides may incur additional charges.

The restaurant chain uses flat-top grills that caramelise the patties.

For patrons who prefer to enjoy their meal watching baseball, Red Robin is offering free delivery from 5 to 7 April 2025 on orders placed through RedRobin.com or the Red Robin mobile app.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers announced a menu expansion in June 2024, introducing the Gold Medal Burger and the Star-Spangled Spritzer.

The Gold Medal Burger features a triple-layer of beef patties and cheese, complemented by Red’s relish, pickles, mayo, lettuce, onion and tomato.
