US-based fast service restaurant chain Pollo Campero has added Mac and Cheese to its sides line-up in the US.
The restaurant brand, known for its flavourful chicken meals, noted that its new menu addition comprises four cheeses and a blend of savoury seasonings.
The company claims that the new Mac and Cheese pairs well with the bone-in Camperitos, Campero Spicy Chicken Sandwich, grilled and fried chicken on the bone.
Pollo Campero chief operating officer and managing director Luis Javier Rodas said: “We tested many recipes to be sure that our new Mac and Cheese delivers on the Pollo Campero bold flavour promise.
“Our team expertly crafted a proprietary, made-from-scratch recipe to create a rich, cheesy delight with a blend of savoury seasonings.”
The restaurant brand added that its new Mac and Cheese is now available across all its outlets in the US and can be purchased for individual and family meals or on its own.
Pollo Campero was established in 1971 in Guatemala and offers tender, juicy, hand-breaded fried chicken and slow-marinated, citrus-infused grilled chicken.
The brand currently operates more than 350 restaurants across the globe.
In January this year, Pollo Campero further extended its partnership with ArrowStream, to use its food service cloud platform for supply chain intelligence.
The restaurant chain will continue to leverage ArrowStream Central technology to gain supply chain visibility, which will help the brand streamline and automate day-to-day processes.
