US-based Restaurant Technologies, a provider of automated oil management solutions for the foodservice industry, has launched its new branding.

The company’s new branding focuses on helping customers control parts of their business.

Restaurant Technologies marketing and product innovation senior director Ryan Bowlds said: “Restaurant Technologies takes the burden away from business owners who already have so much on their plate.

“We have helped more than 37,000 customers nationwide control more of their business and we are excited to have our new branding speak to that.”

The company noted that its Total Oil Management solution automates oil management for commercial kitchens, including oil delivery, filtering, monitoring and recycling.

It claims that the process ensures food quality while creating a safer workplace for the staff by removing the dangers of managing hot oil and potential slips and falls.

On the other hand, its AutoMist solution has been designed to eliminate the need for third-party hood cleaning and helps reduce the risk of fire in commercial kitchens.

The company added that both its solutions aim to minimise the risk at the workplace for employees and lower insurance premiums.

Restaurant Technologies was established in 1999 and currently serves more than 37,000 quick service and full-service restaurant chains and independent restaurants.

With a workforce of more than 1,400 employees, Restaurant Technologies has 41 depots across the US.

Customer engagement drives metaverse investment in the foodservice sector

COVID-19 and supply chain disruptions following the Ukraine war have accelerated automation and digitalization in the foodservice sector. Home delivery services and consumer engagement through digital channels have become essential for businesses trying to stay afloat. Foodservice companies must also cope with ESG issues, the fast-changing world of work, and the global economy heading for recession and possible stagflation. The metaverse, enabled by both AR and VR, is an important tool that can help address many of the foodservice industry's key challenges.
