Canadia-based speciality coffee retailer Second Cup Cafe has announced the opening of its new outlet at Union Station Bus Terminal in Downtown Toronto, Canada.
The newly opened café will be Second Cup Café’s 181st location and the 23rd store to offer classic beverages and bites such as its recently added Chocolato dessert menu of soft serve, dips and sundaes.
Apart from the typical coffee and beverages, Second Cup also offers a wide range of food items.
Customers can access the new Downtown Toronto café from Lake Shore Boulevard West, located on the southeast corner of the Union Station Bus Terminal.
The 1,810ft² café has been opened to address the existing demand of residents in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) for a café inside the bus terminal.
The company noted that the café’s strategic location will benefit commuters coming in and out of the city for work/leisure, or travellers coming to/from other cities.
Foodtastic Cendrine marketing director Lavigne said: “We are excited to bring Second Cup Café to Toronto Union Station Bus Terminal and share our passion for exceptional coffee with the community.
“Our goal is to create a transformative coffee experience, where every sip transports you to a world of flavour and connection.”
Second Cup Café’s opened its first location in 1976. Since then, the coffee chain has expanded its presence across Canada.
Metrolinx chief marketing officer Mark Childs said: “The Second Cup Cafe will provide customers with much-desired food and beverage options before their journey on-board begins and en route to their destination or next adventure.”
