US-based doughnut chain Shipley Do-Nuts has selected Opus’ in-class training solution to help its franchisees accelerate business growth.
The tech company noted that its solution is designed to reach every frontline employee, allowing the restaurants to enhance workforce productivity.
Through this partnership, the restaurant chain will provide training to its employees across all corporate and franchise locations through the Opus platform.
It anticipates that the training would ensure consistent guest experiences across all its new and existing locations.
Established in 1936, Shipley Do-Nuts is a doughnut restaurant franchisor. The brand has franchised more than 340 restaurants to a diverse group of operators across 12 US states.
Shipley Do-Nuts chief marketing officer Donna Josephson said: “As our brand grows and evolves with new locations, technologies and product offerings, Opus helps us support our franchisees so they can seamlessly and confidently implement updated procedures in their shops.
“With the ability to provide highly effective, customised training for the field, Opus helps us unify and grow the Shipley brand.”
Opus explained that its blended-learning approach, short online trainings and on-the-job instruction would help the doughnut chain to unify the brand.
Opus Training CEO Rachael Nemeth said: “We are thrilled to welcome Shipley Do-Nuts as a new customer. We look forward to helping their team continue to delight their customers with their delicious do-nuts and memorable customer service.”
