American casual dining restaurant chain Smokey Bones has partnered with Chef Robert Irvine to launch a limited-time menu in the US.
Chef Irvine will join the chain, known as "Masters of Meat," to introduce the limited-time menu called Robert’s Ribfeast.
Smokey Bones chief marketing officer Cole Robillard said: “We are honoured to partner with Chef Irvine, who shares our appreciation for not only our ribs but also for our active-duty military and veterans.
“Chef Irvine is a frequent guest at Smokey Bones and a natural fit for our brand as he has made a significant impact on both the restaurant industry and military community.
“We are excited to not only offer guests a terrific deal on their favourite meal but to bring our communities together to support this important cause.”
From 31 October 2023, Robert’s Ribfeast will be offered in two formats: Robert’s Ribfeast for One and Ribfeast for Two.
Robert’s Ribfeast for One comprises a half-rack of Smokey Bones’ house-smoked St Louis ribs, two sides, a piece of garlic bread, and a choice of appetiser or dessert.
Ribfeast for Two includes a full rack of St Louis ribs, four sides, two pieces of garlic bread, and a choice of appetiser or dessert.
The new menu will benefit the Robert Irvine Foundation, which is dedicated to transforming the lives of service members, veterans, first responders and their families.
The restaurant has agreed to donate 10% of sales from the “Robert’s Ribfeast” promotion to the foundation, up to $100,000.
Chef Irvine stated: “We are thankful for the generosity of Smokey Bones in their efforts to support the Robert Irvine Foundation.
“These funds will go towards our food, wellness, community and financial support programmes which impact thousands of service members, veterans and their families. We look forward to kicking off this partnership with the Masters of Meat in supporting America’s heroes.”
Robert’s Ribfeast is a limited-time rollout and will be available at all Smokey Bones locations until 1 January 2024.
