SONIC Drive-In is expanding its menu offerings with the introduction of new Pulled Pork BBQ items, available at all its locations in the US for a limited period.

From 5 February to 31 March 2024, customers can enjoy the Pulled Pork BBQ Cheeseburger, Pulled Pork BBQ Totchos [nachos served with tater tots] and the Pulled Pork Sandwich.

The Pulled Pork BBQ Cheeseburger combines a 100% pure beef patty with smoked pulled pork, signature cherrywood smoke sauce, crinkle-cut pickles and melted American cheese, served on a toasted brioche bun.

This burger starts at $5.29 plus tax.

Pulled Pork BBQ Totchos is topped with pulled pork and cherrywood smoke sauce. Totchos start at $3.39 plus tax.

SONIC vice-president of culinary and menu innovation Mackenzie Gibson said: "The passion for barbeque among our guests fuelled the drive to put our own spin on these crave-able favourites.

“We’re always pushing the boundaries and finding new ways to take fan-favourite items, like our cheeseburgers and tots, to the next level. These new items are a harmony of BBQ’s best flavours, proving BBQ really does make everything better.”

SONIC's customers can also continue to order "Dirty Drinks," a customisable beverage option that allows the addition of sweet flavours such as coconut, cream and lime.

The drinks are available at drive-ins nationwide.

This month, SONIC Drive-In expanded its menu with the launch of the Peanut Butter Bacon SuperSONIC Double Cheeseburger and the Peanut Butter Bacon Shake.

The Peanut Butter Bacon SuperSONIC Double Cheeseburger starts from $6.39 and a medium-sized Peanut Butter Bacon Shake starts from $3.99.
