SONIC Drive-In is set to add a Halloween twist to its 2024 autumn menu with the introduction of the Witch’s Brew Slush Float in the US market.

The new beverage joins the Flavorista Favorites premium drink line-up, offering a novel take on the classic caramel apple.

The SONIC Witch’s Brew Slush Float combines the sour taste of green apple-flavoured slush with salted caramel bubbles, topped with soft serve and a further sprinkle of the bubbles.

From 30 September 2024, the Witch’s Brew Slush Float will be available at SONIC locations nationwide, while those using the SONIC App can enjoy early access.

The availability of the Witch’s Brew Slush Float is limited to the Halloween season, from 23 September to 3 November, at participating SONIC Drive-In sites and while supplies last.

SONIC culinary and menu innovation vice-president Mackenzie Gibson said: “Witch’s Brew is our twist on a caramel apple that stands out from the crowd with its unique blend of seasonal flavours and textures.

“This hauntingly good creation not only captures the essence of the Halloween season but also delivers a deliciously fun experience that’s truly one-of-a-kind. Witch’s Brew is sure to become a seasonal favourite.”

In August 2024, SONIC announced plans to launch Loaded Queso Fries on 2 September 2024.

The Loaded Queso Fries come in two flavours - Bacon Ranch and Southwest, both served on SONIC’s signature Groovy Fries.

The Bacon Ranch variety is topped with white queso, bacon, shredded cheese and ranch sauce, while the Southwest version includes queso, jalapeños, tomatoes, Southwest sauce, onions and cheese.
