Software and payment company SpotOn has unveiled SpotOn Marketing Assist, a new tool aimed at transforming the restaurant marketing landscape.
The AI (artificial intelligence)-enabled marketing tool will allow restaurants to improve guest visits and increase sales without the significant time and money investment usually needed for marketing campaigns.
SpotOn Marketing Assist is designed to assist operators in achieving marketing goals including boosting online orders, in-person visits, phone calls and reservations.
The software integrates with the SpotOn Restaurant POS system, allowing for the automatic generation of email lists from the restaurant's SpotOn Order and SpotOn Reserve customer databases.
SpotOn Marketing Assist campaigns are both time-efficient and cost-effective.
By automating what has traditionally been a manual marketing process, the tool allows operators to reallocate their resources more effectively.
SpotOn Marketing Assist will also offer insights into campaign performance and customer behaviour.
It will provide operators with data to make informed decisions and tailor their marketing strategies for maximum impact.
SpotOn chief product officer Bryan Solar stated: “SpotOn Marketing Assist is democratising AI and automation technology for the independent restaurants who need it the most.
“Beyond empowering operators to set up automated campaigns, SpotOn is helping to drive repeat business while providing operators with the data-driven insights they need to keep the momentum going and drive revenue all year long.”
In October 2023, SpotOn agreed to divest its sports and entertainment business to Shift4 and focus on the growth of its restaurant business for an undisclosed sum.
SpotOn noted that the sale would enable the company to streamline its business and focus on the restaurant industry.
SpotOn Restaurant is the most widely used platform in the market, giving restaurant operators everything needed to drive profit.
