The new restaurant aims to strengthen the company's ties with local coffee farmers and contribute to community development.

Starbucks Thailand has inaugurated its third community store, located in the Mae Rim district of Chiang Mai at Kad Farang Village.

The new restaurant aims to strengthen the company's ties with local coffee farmers and contribute to community development.

Starbucks at Kad Farang, Mae Rim, features wooden lattices that complement the store's interior.

The earthy tones of the furniture and warm hues in the store reflect the community's connection with nature and the tradition of coffee cultivation.

In a tribute to the local coffee farming community, the store showcases custom artwork, including handwoven textile panels crafted by regional weavers and artisans.

The store's design draws inspiration from the local coffee-growing traditions and the cultural heritage of the farmers of northern Thailand.

The company acknowledges the significant role they have played in collaboration with Starbucks, particularly in the creation of the Starbucks Muan Jai blend, a unique coffee blend sold exclusively in Thailand.

Starbucks has introduced an exclusive drink menu, which includes the Muan Jai White Chocolate Affogato-Style Frappuccino Blended Beverage.

The company will donate Bt10 from every beverage sold at the location to the Integrated Tribal Development Program (ITDF), to enhance the livelihoods of coffee farmers.

Customers can purchase a special collection of merchandise at the new Community Store, including Benjarong mugs, drinkware decorated with coffee grounds, keychains, bags and coasters, providing a tangible connection to the local culture and supporting the sustainability efforts of the community.

In August 2024, Starbucks Philippines launched a community store in Maysilo Circle, Mandaluyong City, and Starbucks Korea opened its Hwangudan community store in July.
