Starbucks has carried out a new system upgrade that enables customers to place their orders more quickly at the University of Texas Health and Science Center San Antonio (UT Health San Antonio) campus.

The new system upgrade allows campus customers to place their orders ahead of time and pick them up at designated areas.

To place their order, Starbucks customers are required to download the company’s application and scan the QR code.

Once the application is downloaded, customers have to select the “order” icon and nearby locations that offer the service will be shown.

If the customer needs to place the order before arriving at the campus, then they should select the university location, noted as the “University of Texas Health & Science Center” and follow the prompts to complete the order.

In September 2023, Starbucks launched Starbucks Odyssey, a new programme for its Starbucks Rewards0020 members and employees in the US to earn and buy digital collectable stamps.

The coffee house brand noted that these assets will offer access to new benefits and coffee experiences. It also added that its new Starbucks Odyssey experience is powered by Web3 technology.

Based on the number of stamps, Starbucks members and partners will be able to access virtual espresso martini-making classes, merchandise and artist collaborations.
