Autonomous delivery service provider Starship Technologies has raised $90m in its new funding round co-led by Plural and Iconical.
The capital infusion will support operations growth and additional investments in its cutting-edge technologies and will extend its reach to millions more customers globally.

“The culmination of this hard work over the past decade and this new funding means Starship is well-positioned for accelerated growth. We’re looking forward to supporting Ahti and the team on this journey to becoming one of Europe’s most successful global companies.”
Since its establishment in 2014, Starship Technologies has obtained $230m in funding.
The latest investment will be used to fuel advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, as well as the development of tech and wireless charging infrastructure.
The company is currently active in 80 countries, including the US, Germany, Denmark, Finland and the UK.
The company's delivery robots are engineered to run for 18 hours on a full charge.

In September 2023, GrubHub partnered with Starship Technologies to launch a robot food delivery service at the Sam Houston State University campus in Huntsville, Texas.
